Support Associate - Before & After School Program (part time)

JOB OVERVIEW

A Support Associate will assist the Director with the whole group or in small groups. Help prepare and lead activities with the students. Care for and engage with children during playtime and snack time. No experience necessary, but must be servant-hearted, a team player, and have a heart for school-age children. Must be in alignment with the vision and culture of Lifegate Church and School.

Position begins in August for the 2023-2024 school year at our West Dodge Campus on days when Lifegate Christian School is in session. Hours are 2-3 days/week from 6:45am-8:00am and/or 3:00pm-6:00pm. 2nd grade teacher (full time)

JOB OVERVIEW

Lifegate Christian School teachers must possess a valid teaching certificate from the state of Nebraska. They have to have to be Christians who attend a Bible teaching church. We expect our teachers to integrate their faith as they present lessons with a Christian worldview. Teachers are expected to be able to use a variety of teaching methods in order to meet the learning needs of all the students in their class. Teachers need to be able to assess learning, and be able to help struggling students meet reasonable goals. Our teachers are also expected to meet the needs of advanced learners. Our team of teachers are collaborative and encourage one another for the sake of our students. LCS teachers will work with parents as partners and communicate with them regularly.
